In an era when some kickers can’t be trusted to make routine kicks, the Los Angeles Chargers have someone they can trust.
Cameron Dicker made history in Week 2 with his 100th career field goal attempt.
He finished the game against the Las Vegas Raiders 2-for-2 to take his career mark to 95-for-101.
As such, he has become the most accurate field goal kicker in NFL history, among players with at least 100 attempts.
He’s up to 94.1 percent, which makes him the only qualifying player with a field goal percentage of more than 90 percent.

He’s ahead of former Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker, who converted 89.1 percent of his field goal attempts.
An undrafted free agent out of Texas, Dicker has outplayed colleagues who were taken in the NFL Draft.
Entering the league as a punter, he joined the Los Angeles Rams but was waived, and he also had a short-lived tenure with the Ravens.
The Philadelphia Eagles brought him in as a kicker to fill in when Jake Elliott was injured, but he was let go again.
The Chargers gave him a chance later in that 2022 season, and he made the NFL All-Rookie team.
Field goals are a huge part of the game, so having the most accurate kicker ever is a huge weapon.
